Part-time, trauma-informed support for pupils struggling to attend
If a pupil at your school is struggling to attend, Roots offers part-time, trauma-informed support alongside your existing curriculum. We accept referrals through EHCP and EOTAS routes, directly from schools.
A note on Ofsted registration
As a part-time (maximum two days per week) alternative provision, we are not Ofsted registered. We work instead to the Department for Education’s national standards for non-school alternative provision, and we’re happy to share our policies directly if that’s useful for your own due diligence.

Supporting reintegration back into mainstream school
We offer GCSE and Functional Skills subjects. Roots is an accredited exam centre, so pupils can sit exams with us directly.
